New Orleans Film Festival

The 34th annual, Oscar-qualifying New Orleans Film Festival returns November 2-7, 2023 in venues across the city with in-person events, parties, panels, filmmaker pitches, and much more! AIKĀNE is one of ten animated shorts selected for this yearʻs festival.

The majority of the lineup will also be accessible via the NOFF Virtual Cinema globally between November 2-12, 2023. Geo-restrictions may apply to some screenings.

NOFF annually brings together 150+ films and hosts 100+ filmmakers in New Orleans to celebrate works of emerging and established filmmakers from New Orleans, Louisiana, the South, and beyond.

Damn These Heels Queer Film Festival

An “oasis in the desert,” Damn These Heels Queer Film Festival has been pushing boundaries for 20 years! In person October 12-15, 2023 at the Rose Wagner Theater in downtown Salt Lake City.

For 20 years, Damn These Heels has provided Utah’s queer community with access to films events that celebrate, inspire, and highlight queer stories, queer history, and queer joy. In 2023, we expect over 2,000 members of Utah’s queer community, invested local leaders, and filmmakers and film lovers to attend our festival.

Sunday, September 10 at 2:00pm donʻt miss MY PARTNER, Hawaiʻi’s first LGBTQ+ boy love feature film, directed by Keliʻi Grace and starring Kaipo Dudoit, Jayron Munoz and Marieyan Balagtas, preceded by AIKĀNE, an animated queer mythic love story inspired by the Hawaiian concept of love between men.
